Jotron has successfully served the global civil aviation market for over 30 years, focusing on the development and delivery of high quality products backed by the highest standards of before and after sale service.

Jotron entered the ATC market in 1974 with the launch of the 5000 series VHF receiver. In 1975, Jotron completed the development of Low Level Modulation and launched the 5000 series VHF transmitter, the world’s first product to this technology, which is now used by all radio manufacturers.

In 1980, we won our first export contract for ATC radios and have since then delivered more than 12,000 radios to more than 700 airports in more than 100 countries on all continents.

Jotron’s VHF and UHF radios have, for many years, proven to be a long lasting and reliable means of voice communication for Air Traffic controllers worldwide. Offering single and multi channel radios, compact all-in-one or modular solutions have flexible operational modes and remote capabilities.

Designed to surpass today’s demanding standards for audio communications, the radios also incorporate the technology required for tomorrow’s demands for digital data transmission modes, including full voice over IP functionality. The unique modular architecture of Jotron´s range, offers the most compact radio system configuration possible, with increased reliability and simplified installation, inspection and maintenance.
